About Me

Howdy! My name is Cammie Wammack, and I am a new first grade teacher here at Elkhart Elementary.  This will be my 22nd year in education.  I have previously taught Kindergarten - 4th grade, and have also been trained as a Dyslexia Specialist. My husband, Chad, and I both graduated from Texas A&M University. We moved to Elkhart nine years ago with our daughter, Carsen. She graduated from EHS in 2021 and is now a senior at Texas A&M University - WHOOP! 

 

We are an animal-loving family, as we have 17 border collies (all working cattle dogs), a lazy labrador, two cats, two horses, and lots of cows.  We are also die-hard Aggies. You'll find us most weekends in College Station, either visiting Carsen or attending an Aggie sporting event.  When I'm not working on school-related things, I "flip" houses.  I've been buying, remodeling, and selling homes in the Palestine area for the past four years. I love design, and this is my creative outlet.
